Pastoral Care Ministry

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.
-2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NLT)

Our Pastoral Care Ministry team members are ambassadors for the CFC Body and staff as they care for members of the CFC Family in their times of need. There are many ways that you can serve as a part of this team.

Bereavement Team - Help prepare and/or serve meals following funerals as needed. The team leader will contact you when needs arise, and you can serve as your schedule allows.

Hospital Team - You can be a part of this team either by making calls to those in the hospital or visiting (as the hospitals allow) once a week. This team can be a blessing to those who are patients in the hospital and be an encouragement to them. One goal of the church has always been to be in contact with those who are sick or recovering from surgery to share the love of Christ with them through comforting words, scripture, and prayer.

Shut-In Team - You can be a part of this team by either making calls or visiting those who are in nursing homes or homebound 1-2 times per month. You would be an encouragement to them, see if they have any needs that the church can help with, and just let them know that they are missed. The calls and visits will emphasize the fact that the church is interested in being a source of strength and comfort to all who have worshipped here. We want those who are homebound to know that they are being thought of and give them a sense of belonging as we share the love of Christ with them through comforting words, scripture, and prayer.

If you would like to find out more about being a part of one of these teams, please fill out the form below. You can direct any questions to
