What is Parent Dedication?
Parent Dedication is more than a beautiful ceremony; it's a heartfelt commitment by parents to nurture their children in the ways of the Lord. We believe in salvation by God's grace through faith in Christ alone. We understand that faith is a personal journey that each child will embrace in their own time.
Why Parent Dedication Matters?
Parent Dedication is a symbolic act where parents dedicate themselves to the responsibility of guiding their children's hearts toward Jesus. It's a public declaration of their commitment to lead by example, teach God's Word, and model a life of faith. While we believe that personal faith in Christ is crucial for salvation, Parent Dedication underscores the pivotal role parents play in their child's spiritual development.
Our Quarterly Celebration
We conduct Parent Dedication segments in our worship services on a quarterly basis. This regular celebration provides an opportunity for parents to stand before the congregation, express their dedication, and receive the support and prayers of our church family.
How to Participate
To participate in our next Parent Dedication on August 25, 2024, please fill out the form below by August 4. This will help us prepare for this special event and ensure that your commitment is honored within our church family. We will contact you with next steps after we receive your form. Please note that at CFC, we require at least one parent to sign their agreement with our Doctrinal Statement. If you have not yet signed it as part of a ministry you serve in or as part of CFC's Membership process, please do so HERE before filling out the form below.
