Study, Prayer, & Fellowship
Good morning, church family! As a church, there are a few things that we want to keep in front of the family of God here at CFC, and one of those things is DISCIPLESHIP!
We’re all about discipleship, and we’re convinced that one of the places that discipleship happens best is in a small group. These are usually groups of 6-12 people committed to living life in community and coming together regularly for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. Each group looks a little different, but we are united in our commitment to engage in these three aspects of Christian life together with the goal of seeing lives transformed by the power of the gospel.
In a large church like CFC, the weekend worship services are a great place to come together to hear God’s Word and join together in corporate worship, but they are not the best place for community. We may be able to briefly connect with people we know, but it is not likely that this will be a time where you can be regularly encouraged and challenged by a group of people that know you well. That is why we believe small groups are essential to your growth as a Christian. It really makes this larger church smaller.
We have groups 60 active groups; some are for just men or women, and some co-ed groups. Many of these groups are open to new members. If you are not currently in a small group and would like to find one that is a good fit, please use our Group Finder to browse available groups. If you have difficulty finding a group, please stop by The Center or reach out to a member of the Adult Ministry Team, and we would be happy to help you find a group that is right for you.
As always, we are here to serve you! If you need anything, please reach out and give us the privilege of trying to serve you.
