Our Awful Privilege

Losing a loved one is always hard. At CFC, we consider it, as Dale would say, “our awful privilege” to walk alongside and serve grieving family and friends. When all the calls and cards are over, reality begins to set in, doesn’t it? If you anticipate, think, or wonder if the holidays this year will be even harder to walk through, then we want to serve you.

Whether you have lost a loved one years ago or just last week, we want to invite you to the Surviving the Holiday seminar that will happen this coming Monday, November 15th. This one-time seminar provides help and hope as you navigate the Thanksgiving and Christmas season while wondering how you will survive these weeks.  In this seminar you’ll learn:

  • How to deal with the many emotions you’ll face during the holidays
  • What to do about traditions and other coming changes
  • Helpful tips for surviving social events
  • How to discover hope for your future

There is no need to sign up. Just join us in the Chapel on Monday, November 15 at 6PM.

Also, we want to remember those in our church who have passed away and pray for their family and friends. As we move forward with eNews, we will list anyone who has passed away in the last week or two who considered CFC their church.  Will you join us in the “awful privilege” to pray and serve those who are hurting?

Whether you find yourself grieving or rejoicing in this season, we look forward to worshiping with you this weekend! See you soon!
