fear not, for I am with you;

be not dismayed, for I am your God;

I will strengthen you, I will help you,

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

-Isaiah 41:10 (NLT)

The most repeated command in all of Scripture is to not be afraid. God knows that we all struggle with some form of fear, anxiety, worry, or stress. God’s Word is completely relevant and sufficient to speak to the problem of anxiety that assaults us on a regular basis. Struggles with anxiety seem to be on the rise with students and adults alike. This weekend we will dive into the Scriptures to see how the person, work, and presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ speak to our anxious and worried hearts.

Common Q & A:

Can a student drive themselves to the retreat?

Yes. However, once a student checks in they will not be allowed to leave until the end of the retreat unless a parent contacts Reid or Lindsey and gives permission. If a student leaves without their parent contacting us, they will be unable to return for the remainder of the retreat.

What if a student can only make it to part of the retreat?

We strongly discourage students coming and going unless it’s for prior commitments they cannot get out of. The retreat is designed for students to experience both days. Please discuss this with Reid or Lindsey before signing up.

If a student needs to leave for part of the retreat, do we have to pay the whole $45?

Yes, the cost is still $45. In most circumstances, we do not offer partial retreat costs. Please discuss with Reid or Lindsey if you have questions.

Are there scholarships available for students/families who cannot afford the cost?

Yes. We never want money to be the barrier for students to attend our events. Please contact Reid Schultheis to discuss scholarships.

Where will students sleep?

We will have various rooms in the church with at least 2 leaders in each area. There are no beds at CFC, so we will encourage students to bring sleeping bags or an air mattress.

If my student wants to attend the retreat, but they don’t want to jump at Sky Zone, is it still the same cost?

Yes. There will be very few exceptions. If there is an injury or specific reason why a student cannot jump, please discuss with Lindsey and Reid.

When will we receive the packing list?

There will be a packing list emailed to parents 2 weeks prior to the retreat.
