HSM Winter Retreat
This year's theme is Imago Dei (Image of God) and will focus on where our students are finding their image and signficance. Our goal is for students to know that we are not "what we do" but to understand that we were made in the image of God. We want to learn what it looks like for a believer to live in light of this.

Common Q & A:
Can a student drive themselves to the retreat?
Yes. However, once a student checks in they will not be allowed to leave until the end of the retreat unless a parent contacts Noah or Becca and gives permission. If a student leaves without their parent contacting us, they will be unable to return for the remainder of the retreat.
What if a student can only make it to part of the retreat?
We strongly discourage students coming and going unless it’s for prior commitments they cannot get out of. The retreat is designed for students to experience both days. Please discuss this with Noah or Becca before signing up.
If a student needs to leave for part of the retreat, do we have to pay the whole $50?
Yes, the cost is still $50. In most circumstances, we do not offer partial retreat costs. Please discuss with Noah or Becca if you have questions.
Are there scholarships available for students/families who cannot afford the cost?
Yes. We never want money to be the barrier for students to attend our events. Please contact Noah or Becca to discuss scholarships.
Where will students sleep?
We will have various rooms in the church with at least 2 leaders in each area. There are no beds at CFC, so we will encourage students to bring sleeping bags or an air mattress.
If my student wants to attend the retreat, but they don’t want to ice skate, is it still the same cost?
Yes. There will be very few exceptions. If there is an injury or specific reason why a student cannot participate, please discuss with Noah or Becca.
When will we receive the packing list?
There will be a packing list emailed to parents 2 weeks prior to the retreat.
