Each year, we collect a special Thanksgiving Offering that is used locally to help those in need. Again this year, it will be used to buy food for over 30 local food pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens. The food will be delivered at the Food Drop on December 12.

During the COVID-19 crisis, there has been more food insecurity than we have seen in a long time. There is a huge need for food, so we hope to deliver even more than in years past. Please pray about giving to the Thanksgiving Offering before November 29th. We order the food on November 30, so we need to have the total amount prior. You can give ONLINE, or you can put "Thanksgiving Offering" on your check and drop it in the offering baskets in the foyer or mail to CFC.

What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do. So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.
