Hours: Salaried, Generally 40-45 hours per week


Accountability: Adult Ministry Team Leader


Position Summary

This person will be responsible for fostering a welcoming environment by overseeing the first impressions and connections ministries at CFC. This includes the Welcome Center, Connections Center, and CFC@Home areas, along with recruiting and managing volunteers to serve as greeters, ushers, and hosts.


Primary Functions

  • Ensure a welcoming environment for both guests and members
  • Manage Welcome Center, Connection Center and CFC@Home
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteer teams to staff Welcome Center, Connection Center, and CFC@Home, and to serve as ushers and greeters
  • Connect with new attendees in follow-up to welcome cards
  • Serve as a resource for those with questions, or who would like to get involved, connecting them with appropriate staff, elders, or volunteer leaders


Secondary Functions

  • Assist with helping people find their volunteer fit in various ministries at CFC
  • Oversee Meet & Greet, Intro to CFC, Membership Class, and Parent Dedications
  • Oversee Communion preparation and distribution
  • Oversee preparation for candle lighting at Christmas Eve services
  • All other duties as assigned by Adult Ministry Team Leader

  • Humble, coachable, and teachable and a team player with a heart for ministry
  • Ability to recruit, train, and manage a large volunteer team
  • Ability to utilize ministry-related software to organize and facilitate a healthy and growing ministry environment
  • A personal and growing relationship with Jesus
