David Niednagel

Founding Pastor

I grew up in Evansville and my wife, Judy, grew up on a farm in Colorado. We have two grown children and one granddaughter (who lives in Taiwan). I was saved at a Christian Camp in Maryland in 1957 through meditating on 1 John 5:11-12, and later received a Bachelor's Degree from Wheaton College and a Master's in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. I love God's Word, so to choose "a favorite verse" I would probalby say the whole first chapter of Colossians. In 1974, Judy and I, along with three other couples, started CFC. My daily quiet times and praying with Judy have been keys to my walk with the Lord and my ministry. I now invest my time training and discipling people who will train and disciple others, especially in India. I love seeing people learn how to hear God speak to them. We have traveled in all the states except North Dakota and Hawaii, and traveled to 31 countries, training leaders in 20 of them. I also love studying and teaching Scientific Creation because it is such a faith builder. We have several favorite restaurants including Bonefish, Panera and Chinese buffets.
