We have several ways that you can be involved. Please complete the form below to get more information.
1. Lunch Buddies- Caze School
We have a brand new way for you to Love Local. Caze Elementary, on the southeast side of Evansville, has students who would love to have YOU come and have lunch with them! We’re starting a new “lunch buddies” ministry. Spend 30 minutes at lunchtime with the same kids a couple of times a month. It’s that easy. You’ll get to talk and laugh with them, encourage them, and be a light for Jesus.

Our goals are to impact the lives of students through building strong and enduring relationships within the school environment. To provide a consistent, caring person for students to talk to and receive encouragement from. Mentors can play a powerful role in providing young people with the tools to make responsible decisions, stay engaged in school, and reduce or avoid risky behaviors.
Caze has a diverse student population of 426 students. 10% are English language learners. 91.1% receive free or reduced price lunches. The majority of the students live in low income apartment complexes near Caze.

Being a foster parent can be hard. Having the support of a Care Community can make a giant difference. Care Communities are teams of 5 or 6 people who are assigned an existing foster family and they provide meals, child care, household chores, run errands and more.
4. Serve with Borrowed Hearts Foundation.
Borrowed Hearts mission is to lead the efforts in which every foster family attains the rights to clothing, hygiene, development, and a loving support system.
