F3 Groups |
What Is an F3 Group? An F3 group is a gathering of 3-15 people who meet regularly to do life together and to grow in Christ. Most F3 groups meet for a couple of hours and usually include a time of fellowship, Bible discussion, prayer/ worship, service, and welcoming new people. We have a wide variety of F3 groups including groups for couples, men, women, singles, mixed adults (couples & individuals), and families. Most groups meet weekly in the evening (we have some morning and afternoon groups). Some have chosen to meet every other week or twice a month. We let our groups choose for themselves what would be best. All groups use the Bible as the primary reference. Curriculum used must be in agreement with CFC’s doctrinal statement. Many groups study the weekly message. Group discussion questions are located on the backside of the message study sheet. Why Should I Join an F3Group?God created you with a need for relationships with others. You were not designed to go through your Christian life alone. We all need others to encourage us in our walk with God. We all need to be part of some kind of life-sharing small group. Church-wide sign-ups for F3 groups take place in the fall, winter and spring. However, members are added to our groups throughout the year. If you are interested in joining a group, contact Jeff Hudson at 867-6464 or email him for help in finding the right group for you. What about Childcare? We let the groups figure this out for themselves. Some groups provide childcare, others don’t. You can obtain this information from the group leader of the group you are interested in joining. F3 group leaders are the key to growing a healthy small group. We are always on the lookout for potential new small group leaders. If you would like to find out more about leading an F3 group, contact Jeff Hudson at |
