From the very beginning, world missions has been a major heartbeat of the CFC family. Our desire is to fufill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19 and 20) by bringing people everywhere to the knowledge of God and salvation through His Son. We participate in this process by expressing Christ's love to the world while building up the body of Christ, making disciples, and ministering to the totality of human need across the globe.
The Global Outreach Team strives to make Christ's Name great among the nations by partnering with nationals and equipping leaders to plant reproducing churches. Our vision is to glorify God by mobilizing our church to send out missionaries and to form strategic partnerships to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
Nearly 40% of CFC's annual budget is directed toward cross-cultural missions with 85% of those resources spent outside of North America. We begin our focus in the Tri-State Area, expand it strategically around the globe. We seek to plant the church of Jesus Christ among the least reached people groups of our world and to partner with nationals where the church already exists.
